What would you do on a saturday night in the cornfields of Iowa with an iffy weather forecast? Arts and crafts of course!
While Walmart might be great for your late night arts and crafts fix, remember that if you don’t buy name brand, you might get what you pay for.
We were able to satisfy our childish appetite, but Walmart ‘melty beads’ are no substitute for brand name Hama Beads.
Enjoy pictures of our creations. My favorite is the one in the picture to the right. What do you think it is?
I spent my holidays with Lisa’s family last year. It was a great time with good food, company, and giving. Among the funnier things I received were 3 thrift shop clowns, and the snowman candle to the right (also from a thrift-shop). The candle sat in my room until this weekend when I was doing some spring cleaning. What do you do with a snowman candle? Burn it of course. The only problem… the candle didn’t seem to want to burn. Unfortunately not much more than an inch of the red top-hat melted before the candle extinguished itself.
Why am I blogging about this? Well … lets just say it’s a memorial of sorts for a funny gift.

Check out what a coworker was sporting today. Its a two liter carrying purse. I think if I was in to two liters, I might start carrying a purse too. LOL
