Downloading an Archive of Your Tweets
You may have already figured out that if you use Twitter a lot you are limited to how much tweet history you can search. This might be changing with the agreement /w the Library of Congress to electronically archive all Twitter tweets, but until then, here’s how you can make sure you have a file of most, if not all of your tweets.
1. Navigate to http://www.thesocialarchive.com/profile/[your_twitter_name]
2. Scroll to the bottom and click the button ‘Update [your_twitter_name]‘ on the left column.
3. Scroll to the middle of the page and click ‘TXT’ under ‘Download all tweets from [your_twitter_name]‘ on the left column.
4. Done! Check out the text file of your archived tweets, and save it to a safe place on your computer!
